In doing so, we have earned a great reputation as a reliable service provider who produces quality work. We regularly travel across Australia to service the needs of our valued clients.
About the Owner
When North Queensland born Neil Willmett decided to start a textile business with a few hundred dollars in his spare room in 1996, he couldn't have known where that decision would take him. Today, he is the Managing Director and founder of Willmett Consultants (and also the CEO of its parent company the Willmett Group - Business + Employment Services) with numerous clients across Australia.
As he set about establishing his first business, Neil struggled to find people who could provide him with easy to understand advice about starting a business. Through determination, trial and error he was able to build this textile business.
After years of juggling business, work and study, he founded Willmett Consultants in 2004 to meet the demand for ‘easy to understand and easy to find’ business advice. By combining his appreciation of small business and his background as a human resource professional with his love of helping people, his second business was born.
Today, a number of small businesses and Australian companies continue to incorporate his business, procurement and employment advice into their businesses.
Over the last few years he has continued to inspire others through his writing. He is the author of three books that are focused on increasing Indigenous participation in the commerce and labour markets:

In 2009, Neil successfully expanded Willmett Consultants to become the Willmett Group.

The speed at which this young business has grown, and continues to grow, is a testament to Neil’s determination and self belief.
